My obsession with mixed media started as a way to untangle complex cultural tensions through hands-on tactile craft. Moda, my senior thesis poster series, explores the double-edged sword of the fashion industry: its power as an intoxicating tool for self-expression versus its legacy of distorting body image and enforcing rigid aesthetic conformity. By layering physical textures, typography, and raw collage, I use mixed media as an intentional visual playground—a space to push composition, explore nuanced human contradictions, and let tactile experimentation inform my broader art direction practice.
Street Photography
Street photography is where my creative instincts are sharpest and most personal. Wandering through local neighborhoods and cities around the world, I document candid moments anchored in raw dignity, hope, and humanity through my lens as a Latina woman. Every frame is a study in intentional lighting, natural framing, and emotional pacing—championing the everyday people and overlooked communities whose vibrant truths deserve to be seen, celebrated, and preserved.

My illustration practice is rooted in graphic immediacy and cultural resonance. Leaning into a punchy pop-art sensibility, I translate everyday nuances into dynamic, high-contrast visual statements. Exploring bold color theories and playful compositions outside the constraints of client briefs keeps my creative instincts sharp, serving as an ongoing visual laboratory for the energetic, inclusive art direction I bring to large-scale brand work.
